Revolutionary 4-way connection system

If you have used a Pipes & Dapes system before, you probably know what the drawbacks are: for example, the telescoping drapery support that comes loose, irregular hanging curtains or poor mounting.

The revolutionary and patented 4-way connector with its self-locking system makes these events a memory of the past. This system ensures solid connections of poles and drapery supports, while these can still be adjusted in all possible directions. Wentex Pipes & Dapes goes beyond. Another advantage is that the four openings of the connectors have a universal size of 16 mm. This gives space for mounting a camera, a speaker or a light. Using an adapter, it is also possible to connect the 4-way connector seamlessly to all Pipes & Dapes systems with round poles.

Additional advantages

You will discover additional advantages using the Wentex Pipes & Dapes poles and curtains. Our reinforced aluminium telescoping poles can be mounted up to 6 meters without the need for ladders and their locking heads guarantee a simple and robust connection. Furthermore, our rounded corner base plates are reinforced to support extra weight.

The reinforced curtain supports can carry a weight of 25 kg and can be adjusted up to 3 meters in length. The velcro system ensures that the curtains are hung evenly and straight.

We offer a wide range of different fabrics that can be used for the Pipe and Drape systems. Each type of fabric has its own specifications and applications, which are explained in the following overview.

Medium Gloss Satin.

Medium Gloss Satin is a light fabric. Its weight is 165 grams/m². Thanks to its lightness, it is easy to handle and more cost-effective. The curtains have a slightly glossy appearance. The Medium Gloss Satin curtains can be washed and are flame-retardant according to the DIN 4102-B1 (IFR) standard. They are made entirely of PES FR. Thanks to the light fabric, it does not block the light completely. For this type of application, it is possible to use the Dimout series.

Molton CS

Molton CS is the standard for stage clothing and is made from the same fabric as the backdrops. Molton CS is heavy with a weight of 300 grams/m². It has an opaque finish and therefore absorbs most of the light. Thanks to its higher density, it also blocks the light much better than Medium Gloss Satin.

The Molton CS curtains are washable and are flame-retardant according to the DIN 4102-B1 (IFR) standard.

They are made entirely of PES FR.

Dimout

The Dimout fabrics are glossy fabrics with a weight of 260 grams/2. They are ideal for decorative applications and are available in a wide range of colours. The Dimout curtains are specially designed to block light and can be used, for example, in front of windows.

The Dimout curtains can be washed and are flame-retardant according to the DIN 4102-B1 (IFR) standard. They are made entirely of PES FR.

Curtain with strings

Curtain with strings are very suitable for decorative effects. They have a high transparency and are ideal for being illuminated to create elegant and dramatic effects. The string curtains are washable and are flame-retardant according to the DIN 4102-B1 (IFR) standard. They are made entirely of PES FR.
