MI- 4.600 - DAP D 4251

The DAP MI 4.600 is a compact installation amplifier 1 U Class D that combines high performance with advanced audio network functionality and powerful system processing. With a power of 4 x 600 W to 4 O, it is built specifically for varied environments, including multi-zone commercial rooms, theatres, conference centers and more. Thanks to an IP-controlled DSP and the Milan AVB certified digital input, the MI 4.600 integrates perfectly into modern network audio systems. For system designers who manage mixed impedance infrastructure, there is also bridge mode with support to 100 V. Easy connections both in fixed installations and rack configurations are secured thanks to the terminal and outputs for 2 poly speakers.

The heart of the MI 4.600 is a Milan certified AVB interface that accepts four digital audio channels via RJ 45 . A second RJ 45 port with serial connection is available for network connection only of the DSP, to simplify the routing and monitoring in larger projects. The system configuration is managed via IP via free software for PC or Mac, offering installers and technicians a clear visibility of channel levels, temperature and real-time gain reduction, whether they are located on site or remotely connected.

The 48 kHz DSP processor of MI 4.600 offers a deep and precise control over each area. Each channel has an EQ to 10 input bands and an EQ to 10 output bands, as well as an additional EQ group to 5 bands to shape the tones on multiple channels. Crossover management includes high-pass and low-pass filters up to 24 dB, while the FIR filtering with 144 filters per channel ensures an excellent linearity of phase. They are also present up to 10 ms of delay in input and output and system protection is managed through RMS limitation within the DSP, preserving clarity and headroom even under challenging conditions of use.

Dry relay contacts allow you to instantly silence all outputs or enter standby mode to reduce power consumption when the system is idle. Together with its IP-controlled DSP, these functions make daily operation reliable and intuitive.
